Senior Collection-Fabric Design

This Semester, Spring 2012, I am taking a Computer Printed Textiles class where I will be able to design and print my own fabric. I am hoping to print the above designs on Silk Satin Fabric and use them as lining fabric in my Senior Collection. The blue lace design will be used as lining for the royal blue day jacket below.

Senior Collection-Look 1

 My final thesis for Fashion Design is designing and creating my final Senior Collection. During the Fall Semester, 2011, I designed the collection entitled On The Verge, based on Wallis Windsor and the famous Lobster Gown. This Semester, Spring 2012, I am working on creating 6 full looks that represent the entire collection. My first look consists of a day coat with a mandarin collar, side panels, and waist detail in a royal blue silk fabric. I also created a cocktail dress that falls at the knee with strap and waist detail and a cream silk fabric and flower print fabric.
